10:00 a.m. Adult Education Seminar. Speaker: Rabbi Jonathan Case, Topic: Visions of Ezekiel the Prophet
3:00 p.m. The JCC presents Cap & Collar, a musical performance. With a mix of traditional folk, country & original songs, Rabbi Yossi and Pastor Paul's inspiration serves as a bridge between faiths & people. This event is free and everyone is welcome. Tuesday, January 27–6:30 p.m. Automated External Defibrillator Training Class. Everyone is invited to come and learn how to use an AED. Class will be taught by qualified personnel. This is Susie Feldman's Bat Mitzvah project. For more information contact Drs. Barry or Jenny Feldman at 790-9939.

FLOWER POWER

This week's Bema flowers are being donated by Adele & Herman Salzberg in memory of Abram Yankel Erlichson & in memory of Sarah Plavin; and by Doris Kahn in memory of Irwin Kahn.

An exhibit at the USC McMaster Gallery by the artist Fletcher Crossman
Titled The Age of Endarkenment, is an exhibition of paintings that takes on some timely themes, including the Iraq War, contemporary politics, and oil dependence. The exhibit will run January 12 – February 27, 2009 in McMaster Gallery and there will be a reception and gallery talk with the artist Thursday, January 22nd from 5:00 -7:00. Included in the exhibition will be a series of paintings that explore the experiences of survivors of the Holocaust.
