Tuesday, July 22–7 p.m. Jewish Women’s Book Club meeting in the library. Book of the month is "The Ministry of Special Cases" by Nathan Englander. All Jewish Women are invited.

Wednesday, July 30–6 p.m. Beth Shalom Men's Club - Columbia Blowfish baseball game. Meet at Beth Shalom at 6:15 p.m. and we will carpool to the Blowfish game. The game begins at 7:05 p.m. This is a discount beverage night: $1 drafts and sodas. RSVP to Dan Matzner.

Thursday, July 31–5 p.m. Harvest Hope Food Bank project. Volunteers will staff the emergency food pantry.

“In accordance with synagogue policy, we ask that members not go into the kitchen and not make plates of food to take home on Shabbos. The food left over from the kiddush is often used at other synagogue functions on Sunday or frozen for use another time. Additionally, “carrying” is strongly discouraged on Shabbos and so it is not appropriate to be carrying food out of the synagogue on Shabbos. We ask for everyone’s help in cooperating with this policy.”
